Smiths Water and Sewer Authority
For Smiths Water and Sewer Authority, our most important goal is to provide our customers with a clean, safe drinking water supply to meet all their needs with no worry. We are proud to have been selected as the best operated water treatment facility and the best operated distribution system in the state for three consecutive years by the Alabama Water and Pollution Control Association.
Smiths Water and Sewer Authority is a member in good standing of The American Water Works Association, The Alabama Rural Water Association, and the Alabama Water and Pollution Control Association. Our treatment plant operators as well as our distribution personnel are improving their skills and knowledge continuously by attending classes and seminars sponsored by the regulatory agencies who oversee the quality of our services.
